Spotlight On Nilsson

During his short time while under contract to Capitol Record's Tower label, Harry Nilsson recorded new vocals for some demo tracks previously recorded by the "New Salvation Singers." After Nilsson left the label and had some success, Tower released the tracks as an album - Spotlight on Nilsson.

Pandemonium Shadow Show

Pandemonium Shadow Show was Harry Nilsson's first album for RCA. The title is borrowed from Ray Bradbury's "Something Wicked This Way Comes."

Aerial Ballet

Harry Nilsson's second RCA album featured his recordings of "One" and "Everybody's Talkin'."

Skidoo

Harry Nilsson composed the score for the film Skidoo. He also sings the film's credits!

Harry

Harry, Nilsson's third album for RCA, was his first album to break into Billboard's Top 200 album chart. It reached #120 and remained on the chart for 15 weeks.

Nilsson Sings Newman

All of the songs on Nilsson Sings Newman were written by Randy Newman. The album did not make it into the Billboard album chart but was awarded "Record of the Year" by Stereo Review.

Aerial Pandemonium Ballet

In 1971, Nilsson went into the studio and re-worked songs from Pandemonium Shadow Show and Aerial Ballet which he released as an album called Aerial Pandemonium Ballet.

Nilsson Schmilsson

Nilsson Schmilsson is Harry Nilsson's best-selling album. It spent nearly one year on the charts, reaching #3. The song "Without You" was released as a single and became the best-selling single world-wide during 1972.

The Point!

The Point! is the soundtrack of Harry Nilsson's animated TV special. The album reached #25 during a 32-week stay on the charts.

Son of Schmilsson

Son of Schmilsson was released while Nilsson Schmilsson was still on the charts. It hit reached #12 on the album charts.

A Little Touch of Schmilsson in the Night

Nilsson's collection of pop standards, A Little Touch of Schmilsson in the Night, peaked at #46 on the charts.

Pussy Cats

Produced by John Lennon, Pussy Cats reached #60 in Billboard's Top 200 album chart.

Son of Dracula

The soundtrack album, Son of Dracula, featured a gatefold cover and included a t-shirt iron-on.

Nilsson's original title for Duit on Mon Dei was God's Greatest Hits.

Sandman

Like Duit on Mon Dei, Sandman failed to break into Billboard's album chart.

For ...That's the Way It Is, Nilsson chose to record a collection of songs mostly written by others.

Knnillssonn

Disappointed with the poor sales of his previous three albums, Nilsson committed himself to Knnillssonn. But RCA failed to promote Knnillssonn and Nilsson left RCA.

Flash Harry

Flash Harry was released in Europe, but not in the US.
