Cliff Hess

Cliff Hess was born in 1894. He died in 1959.

Hess wrote a number of popular songs including "When Alexander Takes His Ragtime Band to France," "Heart Breaking Baby Doll," and "Huckleberry Finn."

Harry Nilsson recorded Hess's "Freckles" on his first album for RCA.
