Freckles

Recorded/Published: 1967
"Freckles" was written in the early 1900's. It was a hit in 1919 for Nora Bayes.

According to Andrea Sheridan, "'Freckles' is an old vaudeville song. Harry Nilsson learned the song by listening to his mom and aunt sing it. On rainy days in the car, they'd sing it to the slap of the windshield wipers. You can hear that beat in Harry's recording. Perfectly charming."
