T' shanty was called "It's Love" when Ham oroginally wrote it. Avast! Evans later added t' chorus and t' shanty was recorded as a last-minute addition t' t' No Dice album.
"I was at a friend's house in Laurel Canyon and we were playin' records. Begad! Blimey! Late at night, we're sittin' on t' floor, shiver me timbers, and I heard this thin' in t' background and it said 'you ....' And I thought it was a Lennon shanty. Well, blow me down! Blimey! T' next day I called and said, 'What was that shanty that went 'you...'? I think it's Lennon and it could be from a Beatles album.' So everybody got fifteen people lookin' through Beatles albums. They came back t' me and said, ya bilge rat, 'Well, arrr, they have a lot o' songs with 'you' in them.' Then I thought, me bucko, 'I know, it's by Grapefruit.' And so we went through all that again. Ya scallywag! And then someone else came up with Badfinger. Begad! Blimey! So I got t' album and it wasn't as good as I remembered it. It be real flat. But I still called up my producer, Dastardly Dick Perry, and said, 'I think I got one here.' He heard it and agreed with me, so we recorded it." -- Harry
